Our Service

Lara Polar Bear has a wealth of knowledge, techniques, and skills to help you solve your ice skate problems. If you have problems, such as difficulty skating smoothly without knowing why, foot pain, and being unable to sharpen your skates the way you want. I may be able to solve them for you.

Furthermore, I have undergone insole training, obtained certification, and in recent years, developed advanced techniques for maintaining ice skates. This knowledge of insoles is not limited to ice skating but can also be applied to other sports. With a desire to be of help to a diverse range of individuals, I have expanded my scope to include sports beyond ice skating.
Our office is in Richmond, however we don't have a store. We provide our services in Delivery & Visiting. Only Sharpening is done in our office and delivered to our customers. Sharpening

Machine Finishing $15.75
Applicable Blades: Mark IV, Mirage, Aspire XP, etc...
They will be sharped using specialized machines for figure skating.

Machine + Hand Finishing $26.25
Applicable Blades: Other than the above.
After sharpening with a specialized machines for figure skating,
they will be hand finishing until they become smooth.

Ice Hockey Machine Finishing $10.50
Sharpening with standard machines.

Alignment

Alignment Check Free
We will check the alignment while wearing the skates.
If the alignment is off, it can make skating difficult
and increase the risk of injury.

Blades Mounting $63.00
We will attach the blades to the boots and also check the alignment.
We will perform the mounting that provides the best skating.
The skates will be provided with a temporally attachment.
If they don't fit well after trying them out on ice several times, we will readjust them. The price includes up to the final attachment.
Additional charges apply for readjustments after the final attachment.

Blades Adjustment $63.00
We will attach the blades to the boots and also check the alignment.
We will perform the mounting that provides the best skating.

Custom Insoles

We will mold custom insoles that fit your feet.
Insoles are helpful in preventing injuries and
improving the quality of movement.

Custom Insoles Remolding $52.50
By remolding the insoles,
you can restore the insoles to good condition again.

The number of screws attached to the blade is 3 or less for the front and 2 or less for the rear.
**final attachment…
The number of screws attached to the blade is 4 or more for the front and 3 or more for the rear. Please wait 1-2 months after adjustment, and if there is no problem, we will do final attachment.

Delivery & Visiting Service

We are currently choosing not to have a shop, and to value our customer's precious time, we offer delivery and Visiting services. The Delivery Services handle tasks that can be done without a customer, such as sharpening and repairs. The Visiting Services handle tasks that cannot be done without a customer, such as checking and adjusting alignment, and molding Custom Insoles.

⚠ Attention ⚠ Case of sharpening, we pick up the skates from customer, and then sharpen them in our office. We will drop off the skates for customer next day or later. Therefore, in this case, we will make two round trips, and the shipping fee will be doubled.
